Preparing for the future while taking care of today’s needs is a cornerstone of Dave’s approach with his clients. Dave frequently talks with clients about their long term strategies to ensure that systems are in place to help them meet their objectives. In addition, Dave has provided forensic-style consulting which has led to clients implementing stronger internal controls.
Dave works with privately-held businesses, including manufacturers, distributors, service companies, as well as financial institutions and nonprofit organizations throughout southern New England. He also is experienced in auditing and consulting for employee retirement plans. He provides business consulting services, as well as audit and tax expertise.
He also guides the firm’s recruiting program, and manages and mentors young accountants.
Dave’s first work experience – at a local lumber company when he was a teenager – diverted his attention to the business world. He enjoyed interacting with customers and understanding their needs, as well as learning about how a family business was run. He later researched and wrote a college project around that company.
Dave joined the firm as a staff accountant in 1996 after graduating from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was admitted to firm ownership in 2012, and was named President of the firm in 2016.
Dave is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his sons and reading.
