Helping clients plan and prepare for the future is the cornerstone of Charlie Kennedy’s practice. Whether he’s assisting a corporate client with succession or merger & acquisition planning, or helping an individual client minimize personal income taxes, he strives to put clients on a firm foundation.

A tax professional with nearly 20 years of experience, Charlie focuses on corporate, partnership, fiduciary and individual income tax. He has broad experience working with closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals.

Charlie’s introduction to the business world came when he and his brother formed their own business cleaning local apartment buildings. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in 1994, and an MBA in 2004, both from Boston College.

Charlie joined G.T. Reilly & Company in 2016 after working for national and regional accounting firms.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and he sits on the MSCPA’s State Tax Committee. Charlie also is a member of the Moore Stephens North America Tax Special Interest Group.

Charlie also is active in his community as a member of the Town of Wrentham Board of Selectmen. He sits on the boards of the Massachusetts Selectmen’s Association and the Massachusetts Municipal Association, and is an appointee to the board of the Massachusetts Local Government Advisory Commission. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves and is a member of the American Legion.

When he’s not at work, Charlie enjoys playing golf, hiking and spending time with his family.
